The eclectic style of architect Tristan Auer paired with the direction of talented hotelier, Emmanuel Sauvage has resulted in this year’s chicest hotel opening – Sinner Paris, brought to you by Evok Hotels. Auer, knows how to navigate perfectly between periods, from baroque to contemporary. This time the focus is a period often forgotten in Paris – the 14th century. The result is truly custom and sensual without ever being vulgar. You will find lubricant next to your standard amenities and a luxurious whip in the closet, should your guest act up.

EVOK, describe themselves as a lifestyle creator, brought into existence in 2014 by the will of its 3 co-founders: the owner – Pierre Bastid, the developer – Romain Yzerman and the managing director – Emmanuel Sauvage. All hotels exude a classic luxury with a French touch, Sinner is the first time the group pushed its boundaries with a risqué concept.

The concept works and the attention to detail is nothing short of inspiring. After a short check-in, I was taken down a dark hallway, all my senses alerted, my eyes drawn to the flowing uniform of the man leading me to my suite. He is holding a candle, the music – intriguing. This is chic.

The bar area is the chosen spot for the Le Marais crowd and a mix of international sinners.
I can confirm in no uncertain terms that Sinner Paris has the most comfortable beds in the world. The duvet was like a Soufflé. It dissolved lightly as my hand pressed itself firmly above. Trust me on this.
Sinner Paris needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated.
