The Arlo Way

13.02.2019SebS

With a third property soon to open in New York, Arlo Hotels will soon have over one thousand hipster heads laying on their comfy pillows. Competitors might be asking, why are they growing at such an impressive speed?

When investigating how the growth is happening it is important to focus on the driving force, Javier Egipciaco who began his career as a bellman. These days you will find him in his own office conducting his dual role as Senior Vice President and Managing Director.  Egipciaco claims it was his experience in almost every department that you can find within a hotel that enabled him to get Arlo Hotels so on the money. The concept works, the guests are happy and the growth is happening.

When investigating how the growth is happening it is important to focus on the driving force, Javier Egipciaco (pictured) who began his career as a bellman. These days you will find him in his own office conducting his dual role as Senior Vice President and Managing Director.  Egipciaco credits having had experience in almost every department found within a hotel as being crucial in the success of the brand. The concept works, the guests are happy and growth is a direct result of that.

Arlo Hotels describes itself as an essential home base for urban explorers and having experienced both hotels over the Polar Vortex, I agree. Arlo is a place you can hibernate and recharge between adventures. Both Arlo Soho and Arlo Nomad are refined but approachable with thoughtful spaces that invite visitors to express their creativity and connect — encapsulating the mood of the moment, the new kind of luxury that is both practical and Instagram worthy. Arlo Nomad:

Located North of Madison Square Park and just a short walk from the Empire State Building, you will find thoughtfully designed guest rooms with playful touches at this property. The first two floors offer inviting communal spaces, including MASSONI “Italianish” Restaurant and BARlo, an innovative cocktail bar. Enjoy expansive views and custom mixed beverages from our 31st floor rooftop bar “The Heights”.

Arlo Soho:

The sister property offers thoughtfully designed guest rooms that combine flexible, modern furniture with efficient storage spaces and a range of playful touches. Rooms come with an array of bed types and views (and in some cases, even a large outdoor terrace). Plus, all the amenities you need to make Arlo SoHo your homebase in the city.

Be sure to check out Harolds, Chef Harold Moore delivers seasonal American cuisine in a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Nestled along a quiet neighbourhood street, the simple, fresh and classic dishes deliver a soul-warming punch, while simultaneously pleasing even the most discerning of palettes.
