To say La Truffière has a noted past is an understatement. Housed in the beauty of a 17th century building and under the stewardship of proprietor Christian Sainsard since 1984 whose passions are quite simply magnificent food and wines, this restaurant is more than just a place to eat and drink: it is everything you want to experience in this capital of cuisine.

La Truffière is always a good idea.
To say La Truffière has a noted past is an understatement. Chef de Cuisine, Christopher Poard, a recognised Michelin maestro, ensures that menus fuse classic and contemporary French cuisine. Sommelier Florence Saragino oversees the extensive list of over 3,000 vintage and modern wines.
As the name suggests, truffles are a speciality and the taste menu accompanied by exceptional wines is an absolute must. We also loved the Signature menu, with its fresh and seasoned approached.
La Truffière is intimate and warm: from the aged wooden beams down to the pristine white table linens, it whispers class quietly.

In a city that I have lived in most of my adult life, that is renowned for culinary excellence, it is always a pleasant surprise to stumble across a hidden gem such as La Truffière. It has more than earned its place as an experience to savour when in Paris.
Bravo Monsieur Sainsard and team.
