Located in a prime position that offers unforgettable views over Capri, the Excelsior Parco is a fine choice for when visiting one of the most celebrated islands on the globe. Fall in love with the rich artistic history and modern eco values over a glass of welcome champagne, as we did.

Excelsior Parco Capri
The Excelsior Parco is a historic residence and much more than a place to sleep for the night. The Art Nouveau villa was built in 1906 on the site of an Ancient Roman villa, an original column of which still stands in the entry hall of the hotel. There are just eleven rooms with many overlooking the garden while others boast private terraces with sea views. If you long to gaze at the sea from your own terrace, we suggest that you book a Deluxe with Sea View as we did. Enjoy the sunset with a glass of Perrier-Jouet, the villa’s champagne partner.

The villa has long been a place for artists and intellectuals who would gather to discuss art, philosophy, and culture. Today the hotel continues this tradition by holding art exhibitions, debates, small conferences, and seminars. Each year, the hotel hosts “Conversazioni al Tramonto” together with the “Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio”; these sunset conversations take the form of debates and panel discussions focusing on social themes.
The Excelsior Parco is located halfway between Marina Grande and Capri town’s Piazzetta. The port is a five minute walk, and the center of Capri town can be reached in just 15 minutes by foot.
We highly recommend this boutique gem in Capri.
