Rome Cavalieri is home to one of the largest private art collections in the world. Over a thousand original pieces ranging from 16th Century masters to contemporary art; Nureyev’s ballet costumes to Gallé glass. The Penthouse is aristocratically spacious and complete with a private bar and dining area, rooftop spa and dramatic terrace (the largest in Rome). The furnishings look like a stylishly accessorised outfit, probably as they have been custom designed by Chanel’s, Karl Lagerfeld.

Expect Swarovski crystal taps and an artistically large sofa for lounging. Art is everywhere, including originals by Andy Warhol, who loved money so much he painted it. Evident by the four limited edition Dollar Signs on private view in the Penthouse Suite. (You certainly need some dollars to be a guest here).
The resort has a successful leader in the form of current Managing Director, Alessandro Maurizio. Responsible for overseeing hundreds of rooms, multiple restaurants (including the renowned Michelin star, La Pergola) and most importantly the fierce, famous (and sometimes ferocious) high-profile guests that have included Royal families, soccer players and presidents.
